Dr. Petrites performed Laparoscopic hernia repair surgery on me at 1230pm, Tuesday 28 Feb 06. I was home by 400pm that afternoon, and had absolutely no pain. In fact the pain prescription he wrote for me was never filled.
His professional demeanor is above reproach; he explained to me fully the procedure, and also advised me due to my age- 76, it might be necessary to perform the normal hernia repair. Fortunately for me, he was able to do the laparoscopic repair.

His office staff, the operating room staff, and everyone I came in contact with at the Bonita Community Health Center were outstanding in their professional knowledge, as well as the genuine concern they displayed for my well-being.

I returned for my post op visit on Wednesday 8 March, and was released to continue normal activity. Not one time did I feel any pain throughout the entire event.

It is quite obvious that Dr, Petrites is extremely well qualified to perform this surgery; his surgical staff was extremely well versed in every facet of the procedure, and showed genuine and honest concern for my well being throughout the time I was with them.

I highly recommend Dr. Petrites for this procedure.

Based on my recent experience with Dr. Mark Petrites, I heartily commend his services as a general surgeon, I found him to be thoroughly competent, a practiced professional, calm, articulate, balanced and the possessor of a very welcome sense of humor. Should my own future circumstances again dictate surgery, I would unhesitatingly place myself under Dr. Petrites’ care.

I had laparoscopic hernia surgery. It went extremely well. Better then I expected. Best of all- I was back to sports (Tennis and Golf) in only 7 days! I was very comfortable with Dr. Petrites during the entire process. (September 2006)
